Starting salary between £13,416 and £16,432 with the opportunity of rising towards £17,576 depending on performance.

Early  Years Practitioner - Person Specification 

Deputy Manager

4 Street and Northwood Nurseries have a rare opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join their innovative management team as a Deputy Manager.

£20,000 (negotiable depending on experience) plus benefits and an unrivalled employment package.

4 Street and Northwood Nurseries are an established company providing an integrated approach to high quality Early Education and Care for children aged 3 months to under 8 years.

You will work within our experienced management team to implement and manage the delivery of the highest quality of care to children and their families as well as support a continuous staff development programme.

Assisting the Nursery Manager in implementing the nursery vision, you will ensure that the current “outstanding” standards, as judged by Ofsted, are maintained and that reflective and continuous development remains at the heart of the Nursery ethos.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial, as is a good all round educational background.  A dynamic approach and ability to lead and motivate a range of staff is essential. Interpersonal and time management skills will be key to this role, together with the ability to work in a pro-active and positive manner.

To succeed, you will have a nationally recognised professional qualification in childcare, to a minimum level 3 standard and experience in a management role.  You will also have a sound knowledge of safeguarding issues and relevant legislation, especially the EYFS, Welfare Requirements and Every Child Matters.
