Since my child started at the nursery she has gone from strength to strength with help from all the staff. Between playing, singing and dancing she is always kept active. We feel happy leaving her withe the staff. The improvement in her diet is amazing. The staff are happy and caring which puts me at ease. My child loves nursery and really enjoys the range of activities on offer. I am really pleased to find a nursery that wants to work closely with parents and actively seeks feedback. The staff are excellent in their attitude, manners and behaviour with both parents and children, and these attributes are reflected in the way our child is behaving. Every month the nursery provides us with a full assessment of our child’s development in the six areas of the Foundation Stage Curriculum and suggests areas for future development. As a result our child is much more focused, pays more attention to us and his concentration has improved clearly since he started at the nursery. Celebrations of all festivals from different cultures and religious backgrounds are beautifully prepared and invitations and involvement of parents are excellent for parent to socialize and meet other parents. The nursery educates our child into very healthy eating habits and as a result we have had to include more vegetables and fruits into our home diet, because he now asks for it. Before attending the nursery he was not the best of eaters. We like the wide variety of activities the nursery offers; dancing and drama, singing, French, cooking, computers etc. The relaxed atmosphere in the nursery you can feel and breathe every time you go in there and this is reflective of the good managerial skills. Regulations, in terms of health protection and avoiding cross infection are outstanding. The most important thing is that when we ask our son if he is happy at nursery the answer is always. “I love it mum” I think we are going to struggle when he needs to move forward to infant school.
