On Wednesday 16th January the new Nursery held its ‘Official opening’ ceremony.  This was attended by C.O. Brazier and John Quigley (Director, Northwood Development and Change Programme) along with a number of personnel involved in the design and building of the new site.  A competition was held in the run up to the day for the children to draw their interpretation of the new nursery. The competition winner Lucy Walker was given the honour of cutting the ribbon to declare the site open. 

Throughout the day the children were involved in many fun activities including dressing up in various Military and Carillion headwear and a visit from the ‘sniffer’ dog.  The nursery also held an ‘Open Evening’ after the nursery had closed to allow people to view the full facilities at their leisure.  A great day was had by all.

Lucy was the lucky winner of the drawing contest and got to cut the ribbon!!
